Hello, I am Charles Brockbank, a senior creative graphic designer and project design director with over 20 years of experience across an expansive range of commercial areas, working predominantly in the entertainment sector in film, music, television, games & publishing.

I spent 15 years at TEA (The Entertainment Agency) working in film, television, gaming and publishing. Before that I was at Design By Green Ink focused on the music and home entertainment sectors. 

My work has involved creative origination & ideation, branding, creative direction, team-leading, campaign strategy, logos & idents, copywriting for tag lines, marketing & synopsis re-writes, scripting & storyboarding, and motion graphics. 

This has encompassed everything from single logo designs to movie poster key arts to full campaign roll-outs across varying media and multiple territories for press, large format OOH, DOOH, packaging, toolkits and brand guides.

Projects have included EA Sports FIFA (numerous years), Harry Potter/Wizarding World (a myriad of projects for games, films & the Studio Tours), Game of Thrones, Deadpool 2, Downton Abbey, Bleed For This, The Eternals, Friends, Jay-Z, Hot Chip, The Sims, Need For Speed, Battlefield 2042, and Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

My client list by extension includes Warner Bros., Universal, Sony, HBO, Electronic Arts, Netflix, Disney, Marvel, Lucas Film, 20th Century Fox, AMC Studios, Lionsgate, Icon, Pathé, Canal+, Def Jam Recordings, Virgin Records, EMI and many more.

This experience incorporates spearheading design teams for massive global campaigns, client facing for meetings & consultations, client management with account teams, vendor facing for best campaign outcomes, and mentoring.

I am methodical, detail-oriented, and love strong, clean design that can both communicate and delight.
